He swore by al-Lat and al-Uzza, so his companions said to him, "You have spoken something foul." He then came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My acceptance of Islam was recent, and I swore by al-Lat and al-Uzza."The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Say 'There is no god but Allah alone' three times, spit lightly to your left three times, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, and do not do it again."
