The Prophet ﷺ said, "A dream is suspended on the foot of a bird as long as the one who saw it does not relate it. Once he relates it, it comes to pass. So do not relate your dreams except to a scholar, a sincere advisor, or a wise person. A righteous dream is one of forty parts of prophethood."
حدثنا بهز قال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن يعلى بن عطاء عن وكيع بن عدس
عن النبي ﷺ قال الرؤيا معلقة برجل طائر ما لم يحدث بها صاحبها فإذا حدث بها وقعت ولا تحدثوا بها إلا عالما أو ناصحا أو لبيبا والرؤيا الصالحة جزء من أربعين جزءا من النبوة
