He informed him, or he heard it directly from him if it was not specifically conveyed to him, that he married the daughter of Abu Ihab. A black slave woman then said, "I have nursed both of you."So I came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him, but he turned away from me. I came again and mentioned it to him, and he said, "How can you remain married to her when she has claimed that she nursed both of you?"So he forbade him from her.
حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرنا عبد الله بن عبيد الله بن أبي مليكة أن
أخبره أو سمعه منه إن لم يكن خصه به أنه نكح ابنة أبي إيهاب فقالت أمة سوداء قد أرضعتكما فجئت النبي ﷺ فذكرت ذلك له فأعرض عني فجئت فذكرت له فقال فكيف وقد زعمت أن قد أرضعتكما فنهاه عنها
