Zamah had a slave-girl whom he used to have relations with, though people had their suspicions about her. She gave birth to a child, and the Prophet ﷺ said to Sawda, "As for the inheritance, it is his, but as for you, Sawda, veil yourself from him, for he is not your brother."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق قال أخبرنا سفيان عن منصور عن مجاهد
أن زمعة كانت له جارية فكان يطؤها وكانوا يتهمونها فولدت فقال النبي ﷺ لسودة أما الميراث فله وأما أنت فاحتجبي منه يا سودة فإنه ليس لك بأخ
