Abdullah bin Zubayr reported,

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Isha, he would perform four rak'ahs and pray witr with a single prostration, then sleep until he rose to pray during the night after his earlier prayer.

قال حدثنا أبو سلمة الخزاعي حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي الموالي قال أخبرني نافع بن ثابت

عن عبد الله بن الزبير قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا صلى العشاء ركع أربع ركعات وأوتر بسجدة ثم نام حتى يصلي بعد صلاته بالليل
