The Prophet ﷺ came out one day with his head wrapped in a bandage and said in his sermon, "To proceed, company of the Muhajirun, you have come to increase in number, while the Ansar have remained as they are today and do not increase. The Ansar are my trusted confidants, to whom I have turned for refuge. So honor those among them who are honorable, and overlook the faults of those who err."
