He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, so-and-so the son of so-and-so is under Your protection and in the bond of Your neighborly care, so shield him from the trial of the grave and the torment of the Fire. You are the One faithful to His promises and the truth. O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, for You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful."
قال حدثنا علي بن بحر قال حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم قال حدثنا مروان بن جناح عن يونس بن ميسرة بن حلبس
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول ألا إن فلان بن فلان في ذمتك وحبل جوارك فقه فتنة القبر وعذاب النار أنت أهل الوفاء والحق اللهم فاغفر له وارحمه فإنك أنت الغفور الرحيم
