Sabra bin Abu Fakih reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Satan sits in wait for the son of Adam along all his paths. He sits in wait for him on the path of Islam and says to him, 'Will you accept Islam and abandon your religion, the religion of your fathers and your forefathers?' But he disobeys him and accepts Islam.Then Satan sits in wait for him on the path of migration and says, 'Will you migrate and leave behind your land and your sky? The migrant is like a horse tied by a long rope.' But he disobeys him and migrates.Then Satan sits in wait for him on the path of jihad and says to him, 'It is a struggle of body and wealth. You will fight and be killed, your wife will be married to another, and your wealth will be divided.' But he disobeys him and goes forth in jihad."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Whoever among them does this and dies, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him into Paradise. Or if he is killed, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him into Paradise. If he drowns, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him into Paradise. Or if his mount throws him and breaks his neck, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him into Paradise."

حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم قال حدثنا أبو عقيل يعني الثقفي عبد الله بن عقيل حدثنا موسى بن المسيب أخبرني سالم بن أبي الجعد

عن سبرة بن أبي فاكه قال

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الشيطان قعد لابن آدم بأطرقه فقعد له بطريق الإسلام فقال له أتسلم وتذر دينك ودين آبائك وآباء أبيك قال فعصاه فأسلم ثم قعد له بطريق الهجرة فقال أتهاجر وتذر أرضك وسماءك وإنما مثل المهاجر كمثل الفرس في الطول قال فعصاه فهاجر قال ثم قعد له بطريق الجهاد فقال له هو جهد النفس والمال فتقاتل فتقتل فتنكح المرأة ويقسم المال قال فعصاه فجاهد فقال رسول الله ﷺ فمن فعل ذلك منهم فمات كان حقا على الله أن يدخله الجنة أو قتل كان حقا على الله عز وجل أن يدخله الجنة وإن غرق كان حقا على الله أن يدخله الجنة أو وقصته دابته كان حقا على الله أن يدخله الجنة
