We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was working on a task or constructing a building, so we helped him with it. When he finished, he supplicated for us and said, "Do not despair of good as long as your heads still sway. A person is born from his mother red, with no covering on him, then Allah grants him provision and bestows upon him."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن سلام أبي شرحبيل قال
أتينا رسول الله ﷺ وهو يعمل عملا أو يبني بناء فأعناه عليه فلما فرغ دعا لنا وقال لا تأيسا من الخير ما تهززت رءوسكما إن الإنسان تلده أمه أحمر ليس عليه قشرة ثم يعطيه الله ويرزقه
