He brought his nephew to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that he might pledge allegiance to him on the basis of emigration. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "No, rather let him pledge allegiance on the basis of Islam, for there is no emigration after the conquest."He said, "And he will be among the followers in righteousness."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى قال حدثنا شيبان عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن يحيى بن إسحاق أنه أخبره
أنه أتى رسول الله ﷺ بابن أخيه ليبايعه على الهجرة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ لا بل يبايع على الإسلام فإنه لا هجرة بعد الفتح قال ويكون من التابعين بإحسان
