He brought a nephew of his to the Prophet ﷺ so that he could pledge allegiance on the basis of emigration. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No, rather let him pledge allegiance on the basis of Islam, for there is no emigration after the conquest. He will be among those who follow with excellence."
حدثنا أبو النضر حدثنا أبو معاوية يعني شيبان عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن يحيى بن إسحاق
أنه أتى النبي ﷺ بابن أخ له يبايعه على الهجرة فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا بل يبايع على الإسلام فإنه لا هجرة بعد الفتح ويكون من التابعين بإحسان
