The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a group of people who were standing still upon their mounts and riding-beasts, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them, "Ride them while they are sound and leave them while they are sound. Do not turn them into chairs for your conversations in the roads and marketplaces, for many a mount is better than its rider and remembers Allah the Exalted more than he does."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا زبان
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه مر على قوم وهم وقوف على دواب لهم ورواحل فقال لهم رسول الله ﷺ اركبوها سالمة ودعوها سالمة ولا تتخذوها كراسي لأحاديثكم في الطرق والأسواق فرب مركوبة خير من راكبها هي أكثر ذكرا لله تعالى منه
