He had companionship with the Prophet. He said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ride these animals while they are sound, and leave them sound when you dismount, and do not use them as chairs."
قال حدثنا أبو الوليد الطيالسي قال حدثنا ليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب
وكانت له صحبة قال قال رسول الله ﷺ اركبوا هذه الدواب سالمة وابتدعوها سالمة ولا تتخذوها كراسي
