He was among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ride these animals while they are sound and leave them to rest while they are sound. Do not use them as chairs."
حدثنا حجاج أخبرنا ليث بن سعد قال حدثني يزيد بن أبي حبيب
وكان من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ أنه ذكر أن رسول الله ﷺ قال اركبوا هذه الدواب سالمة وابتدعوها سالمة ولا تتخذوها كراسي
