I asked the Prophet ﷺ and he gave to me. Then I asked him again and he gave to me. Then I asked him a third time and he gave to me. Then he said, "This wealth is green and sweet. Whoever takes it with a rightful claim will be blessed in it, but whoever takes it with a greedy soul will not be blessed in it, and he will be like one who eats but is never satisfied. The upper hand is better than the lower hand."
حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري سمع عروة وسعيد بن المسيب يقولان سمعنا
سألت النبي ﷺ فأعطاني ثم سألته فأعطاني ثم سألته فأعطاني ثم قال إن هذا المال خضرة حلوة فمن أخذه بحقه بورك له فيه ومن أخذه بإشراف نفس لم يبارك له فيه وكان كالذي يأكل ولا يشبع واليد العليا خير من اليد السفلى
