He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "An evening's march in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all it contains," and he then mentioned its meaning.
حدثنا حسين بن محمد قال حدثنا محمد بن مطرف وهو أبو غسان عن أبي حازم
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول روحة في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما فيها فذكر معناه
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Mutarrif bin Dawud Al-Laythi, Abu Ghassan Al-Madani, is trustworthy and virtuous, and his hadith is found among the group. The hadith has already appeared at 15500.
