The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning or evening spent in the path of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it, and the space of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and all that is in it."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا أبو بشر عاصم بن عمر بن علي المقدمي قال حدثنا أبي عن أبي حازم المدني
قال رسول الله ﷺ غدوة أو روحة في سبيل الله خير من الدنيا وما فيها وموضع سوط أحدكم من الجنة خير من الدنيا وما فيها
Its isnad is sahih. Asim bin Umar bin Ali Muqaddami was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban and Ibn Shahin, and Ibn Main said, "Truthful, there is no harm in him." Likewise, Ibn Hajar indicated that Ibn Ahmad narrates from him, but here Ahmad himself narrates from him. The hadith previously appeared at 15500.
