The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A morning's journey or an evening's journey in the cause of Allah is better than the world and everything in it. And the space taken up by the whip of one of you in Paradise is better than the world and everything in it."
حدثنا أبو كامل الجحدري فضيل بن حسين أملاه علي من كتابه الأصل قال حدثنا عمر بن علي قال حدثنا أبو حازم قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ لغدوة في سبيل الله أو روحة خير من الدنيا وما فيها ولموضع سوط أحدكم في الجنة خير من الدنيا وما فيها
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Kamil Jahdari is Fudayl bin Husayn, and in the printed edition it appeared as Fadl bin Hasan, which is an error. He is a trustworthy and precise memorizer, and he has come up many times before. Umar bin Ali is trustworthy, and his hadith is accepted by the group, except that he practices tadlis, but here he stated explicitly that he heard it directly. The hadith has already appeared at 10417.
