When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Makkah, I said to myself, "Let me put on my clothes." My house was on the road, so I thought I would go and see what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do.I set out and met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ just as he was coming out of the Kaabah. His companions had taken hold of the House from the door to the Hatim, pressing their cheeks against it, with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in their midst.I asked Umar, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do when he entered the Kaabah?"He replied, "He prayed two rakahs."
حدثنا أحمد بن الحجاج أخبرنا جرير عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن مجاهد
لما افتتح رسول الله ﷺ مكة قلت لألبسن ثيابي وكان داري على الطريق فلأنظرن ما يصنع رسول الله ﷺ فانطلقت فوافقت رسول الله ﷺ قد خرج من الكعبة وأصحابه قد استلموا البيت من الباب إلى الحطيم وقد وضعوا خدودهم على البيت ورسول الله ﷺ وسطهم فقلت لعمر كيف صنع رسول الله ﷺ حين دخل الكعبة قال صلى ركعتين
