Yaish bin Takhfa bin Qays Ghifari reported,

My father was among the People of the Suffah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave instructions concerning them, so one man would take one of them home, and another would take two, until I remained as one of five.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Come along," so we went with him to Ayesha's house.He said, "Ayesha, give us something to eat."She brought some hashishah, and we ate. Then she brought a portion of haysah the size of a sandgrouse, and we ate. Then he said, "Ayesha, give us something to drink."She brought a large bowl, and we drank. Then she brought a small cup containing milk, and we drank.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you wish, you may spend the night here, and if you wish, you may go to the mosque."I said, "No, we will go to the mosque."While I was lying on my stomach in the predawn hours, a man nudged me with his foot and said, "This is a way of lying down that Allah detests."I looked up, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن هشام الدستوائي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن

عن يعيش بن طخفة بن قيس الغفاري قال

كان أبي من أصحاب الصفة فأمر رسول الله ﷺ بهم فجعل الرجل ينقلب بالرجل والرجل بالرجلين حتى بقيت خامس خمسة فقال رسول الله ﷺ انطلقوا فانطلقنا معه إلى بيت عائشة فقال يا عائشة أطعمينا فجاءت بحشيشة فأكلنا ثم جاءت بحيسة مثل القطاة فأكلنا ثم قال يا عائشة اسقينا فجاءت بعس فشربنا ثم جاءت بقدح صغير فيه لبن فشربنا فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن شئتم بتم وإن شئتم انطلقتم إلى المسجد فقلت لا بل ننطلق إلى المسجد قال فبينا أنا من السحر مضطجع على بطني إذا رجل يحركني برجله فقال إن هذه ضجعة يبغضها الله تبارك وتعالى فنظرت فإذا هو رسول الله ﷺ
