Muawiya Laythi reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will come a time when people are afflicted by drought, and Allah will send down upon them provision from His provision, yet they will rise the next morning as polytheists."Someone asked him, "How is that, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "They say, 'We were given rain by such-and-such a star.'"
