The Prophet ﷺ set out from al-Jiranah to perform umrah. He entered Mecca at night, then left during that same night and was back at al-Jiranah by morning, as if he had spent the night there. When the sun passed its zenith, he traveled through the valley of Sarif until he joined the road to Medina.For this reason, his umrah went unnoticed.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج حدثني مزاحم بن أبي مزاحم عن عبد العزيز بن عبد الله
أن النبي ﷺ خرج من الجعرانة معتمرا فدخل مكة ليلا ثم خرج من تحت ليلته فأصبح بالجعرانة كبائت فلما زالت الشمس أخذ في بطن سرف حتى جامع الطريق طريق المدينة قال فلذلك خفيت عمرته
