Ibn Abu Khuzama reported,

Messenger of Allah, what is your view about medicines we use for treatment, incantations we seek for healing, and precautions we take against harm? Do these turn back anything from the decree of Allah ?The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "These too are part of the decree of Allah ."

حدثنا هارون حدثنا ابن وهب قال أخبرني عمرو عن ابن شهاب أن

ابن أبي خزامة أحد بني الحارث بن سعد بن هذيم حدثه أن أباه حدثه أنه قال

يا رسول الله أرأيت دواء نتداوى به ورقى نسترقيها وتقى نتقيه هل ترد ذلك من قدر الله تبارك وتعالى من شيء فقال رسول الله ﷺ إنه من قدر الله عز وجل
