An elderly man who had lived through the pre-Islamic era, known as Ibn Abs, narrated to us while we were on the expedition of Rhodes. He said, "I was driving a cow belonging to our family, and I heard from within its belly a clear voice crying out, 'O family of Dharih, an eloquent statement, a man proclaiming that there is no god but Allah!'"He continued, "We then arrived in Mecca and found that the Prophet ﷺ had already departed."
