The prohibition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ against eating the flesh of domesticated donkeys reached us while the pots were boiling with it, so we turned them upside down.
حدثنا يعقوب قال حدثني أبي عن ابن إسحاق قال فحدثني عبد الله بن عمرو بن ضمرة الفزاري عن عبد الله بن أبي سليط
أتانا نهي رسول الله ﷺ عن أكل لحوم الحمر الإنسية والقدور تفور بها فكفأناها على وجوهها
Its chain of transmission is hasan, because of Abdullah bin Amr bin Damra Fazari. A group of scholars considered him unknown, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in al-Thiqat, but Ibn Hajar did not accept that in al-Tajeel. As for Abdullah bin Abu Sulayt, he is trustworthy, and he is the brother of Maymuna. This hadith has come up many times before. See 15073, 14387, 14838.
