Some hot liquid spilled from a pot onto my hand, so my mother took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who was in a certain place. He spoke some words, among them, "Remove the affliction, Lord of mankind," and I believe he said, "Heal, for You are the Healer." He would also blow lightly while reciting.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة عن سماك قال قال
انصبت على يدي من قدر فذهبت بي أمي إلى رسول الله ﷺ وهو في مكان قال فقال كلاما فيه أذهب الباس رب الناس وأحسبه قال اشف أنت الشافي قال وكان يتفل
Its isnad is sahih. Simak is Ibn Harb Dhuhali Bakri, whom they deemed reliable, and he has narrations in Muslim. However, his narration from Ikrima contains some confusion, and this is not from Ikrima here, so his hadith is sahih.Bukhari related the hadith in 9/4 (Fath), number 3883, in the Book of Medicine, chapter on how to perform ruqyah. Muslim related it in 4/1722, number 2691, in the Book of Greetings, chapter on the recommendation of performing ruqyah for the sick person. Ibn Majah related it in 2/163, number 3520.
