Umayr bin Salama Damri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by al-Arj when he came upon a wounded wild donkey. Shortly after, a man from Bahz arrived and said, "Messenger of Allah, this is my catch. Do with it as you wish."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed Abu Bakr to divide it among the travelers.He then continued on until he reached the pass of Uthayah, where he came upon a gazelle with an arrow in it, lying curled up in the shade of a rock. The Prophet ﷺ ordered one of his companions, "Stand here until the travelers pass by, so that no one shoots anything at it."

حدثنا هشيم قال أخبرنا يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن إبراهيم قال أخبرني عيسى بن طلحة بن عبيد الله

عن عمير بن سلمة الضمري

أن رسول الله ﷺ مر بالعرج فإذا هو بحمار عقير فلم يلبث أن جاء رجل من بهز فقال يا رسول الله هذه رميتي فشأنكم بها فأمر رسول الله ﷺ أبا بكر رضي الله عنه فقسمه بين الرفاق ثم سار حتى أتى عقبة أثاية فإذا هو بظبي فيه سهم وهو حاقف في ظل صخرة فأمر النبي ﷺ رجلا من أصحابه فقال قف هاهنا حتى يمر الرفاق لا يرميه أحد بشيء
