I asked Umar bin Khattab about a woman who performs the circumambulation of the House and then begins menstruating.He said, "Let her final act be the circumambulation of the House."Harith said, "That is exactly what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed me."Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "May your hands be rewarded. You asked me about something you had already asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I am not one to contradict him."

سألت عمر بن الخطاب عن المرأة تطوف بالبيت ثم تحيض قال ليكن آخر عهدها الطواف بالبيت فقال الحارث كذلك أفتاني رسول الله ﷺ فقال عمر رضي الله تعالى عنه أديت عن يديك سألتني عن شيء سألت عنه رسول الله ﷺ لكني ما أخالف
Its isnad is sahih. Walid bin Abdul-Rahman is al-Jurashi al-Himsi, and he is trustworthy. The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 2/208, no. 2004, in the book of Hajj, "The Menstruating Woman Departing After the Farewell Circumambulation," and by Tirmidhi, 3/273, no. 946, in the book of Hajj, "Whoever Performs Hajj or Umrah Should Make His Last Engagement with the House," where he said, "It is unusual, coming through Hajjaj," and it is found in his version, but not in Ahmad's, rather it appears in the following hadith. Malik also narrated it, 1/369, no. 120, in the book of Hajj, "Bidding Farewell to the House."
