Sharik said, "I asked the family of Hakam bin Sufyan about him, and they said that he never met the Prophet ﷺ."
قال شريك سألت أهل الحكم بن سفيان فذكروا أنه لم يدرك النبي ﷺ
Its isnad is hasan because of Sharik, and the first narration is preferred over what Sharik says.
