I said, "Messenger of Allah, teach me the practice of the call to prayer."So he wiped the front of my head and said, "Say, 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar,' raising your voice with it. Then say, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' twice, lowering your voice with it. Then raise your voice, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,' twice, 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,' twice, 'Come to prayer, come to prayer, come to success, come to success,' twice. If it is the dawn prayer, say, 'Prayer is better than sleep, prayer is better than sleep,' twice. 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, there is no god but Allah.'"

قلت يا رسول الله علمني سنة الأذان فمسح بمقدم رأسي وقال قل الله أكبر الله أكبر ترفع بها صوتك ثم تقول أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله مرتين تخفض بها صوتك ثم ترفع صوتك أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله مرتين أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله مرتين حي على الصلاة حي على الصلاة حي على الفلاح حي على الفلاح مرتين فإن كان صلاة الصبح قلت الصلاة خير من النوم الصلاة خير من النوم مرتين الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ubayd bin Harith is Abu Qudama al-Iyadi, whom scholars have deemed reliable, and he has a narration in Muslim. Likewise, Muhammad bin Abdul-Malik bin Abu Mahzura, whose hadith has been accepted. This hadith is the same as the previous one, except that it contains many additions, and that it was Abu Mahzura himself who requested to learn the adhan.
