Jabir said to me, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to visit me, so I went to a goat to slaughter it. It bleated, and he heard its bleating.He said, 'Jabir, do not cut off a source of milk or offspring.'I replied, 'Prophet of Allah, it is only a young goat that I have been feeding unripe and ripe dates until it grew fat.'"
حدثنا عتاب حدثنا عبد الله
قال لي جابر دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فعمدت إلى عنز لأذبحها فثغت فسمع ثغوتها فقال يا جابر لا تقطع درا ولا نسلا فقلت يا نبي الله إنما هي عتودة علفتها البلح والرطب حتى سمنت
