Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

There were images inside the Kaabah, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered Umar bin Khattab to erase them. Umar dampened a cloth and wiped them away with it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Kaabah, and not a single one of them remained.

كان في الكعبة صور فأمر النبي ﷺ عمر بن الخطاب أن يمحوها فبل عمر ثوبا ومحاها به فدخلها رسول الله ﷺ وما فيها منها شيء
