The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the Muslims, the one who commits the gravest offense against the Muslims is a man who asks about something and probes into it until a prohibition concerning that matter is revealed because of his questioning."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إن من أكبر المسلمين في المسلمين جرما رجلا سأل عن شيء ونقر عنه حتى أنزل في ذلك الشيء تحريم من أجل مسألته
