I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The meat of game is lawful for the person in Muharram state, as long as he did not hunt it himself or have it hunted on his behalf."
حدثنا سريج حدثنا ابن أبي الزناد عن عمرو بن أبي عمرو أخبرني رجل ثقة من بني سلمة
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لحم الصيد حلال للمحرم ما لم يصده أو يصد له
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it has already appeared at 15096.
