I went to visit Jabir bin Abdullah, and the time for prayer arrived while his clothes were on the bed or on the clothes-rack. He stood up wrapping himself in a single garment and prayed. When he finished, he said to them, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray like this."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد أخبرنا محمد بن مطرف
دخلت على جابر بن عبد الله فحضرت الصلاة وثياب له على السرير أو المشجب فقام متوشحا بثوبه ثم صلى ثم قال لهم حين انصرف رأيت رسول الله ﷺ صلى هكذا
