The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For one of you to hold his hand back from the pebbles is better for him than possessing a hundred camels, all of them with deep black eyes. If Satan overcomes one of you, let him smooth them just once."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم عن ابن أبي ذئب عن شرحبيل بن سعد
قال رسول الله ﷺ لأن يمسك أحدكم يده عن الحصباء خير له من أن يكون له مائة ناقة كلها سود الحدقة فإن غلب أحدكم الشيطان فليمسح مسحة واحدة
