The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade nabidh prepared in clay jars, vessels coated with pitch, hollowed gourds, and hollowed-out tree trunks. Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ could find nothing else in which to prepare his nabidh, it would be prepared for him in a stone basin.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن نبيذ الجر والمزفت والدباء والنقير وكان رسول الله ﷺ إذا لم يجد له شيئا ينبذ له فيه نبذ له في تور من حجارة
