He was being asked about the Wurud, and he said, "On the Day of Resurrection we will be on such and such a place," meaning above the people. He said, "The nations will be called along with their idols and whatever they used to worship, the first then the next. Then our Lord will come to us after that and say, 'Whom are you waiting for?' They will reply, 'We are waiting for our Lord.' He will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'Until we look at you.' So He will manifest Himself to them, smiling."He said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'He will then set off and they will follow Him. Every person, hypocrite or believer, will be given a light, then they will follow Him over the bridge of Hell, which has hooks and thorns that seize whomever Allah wills. Then the light of the hypocrite will be extinguished, and the believers will be saved. The first group will be saved, their faces like the moon on the night of the full Badr, seventy thousand of them not called to account. Then those who follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky. Then likewise, until intercession is permitted, so that whoever said there is no god but Allah and had in his heart the weight of a barley grain of good will be brought out of the Fire. They will be placed in the courtyard of the people of Paradise, and the people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them until they sprout like a plant grows in a flood. Then he will keep asking until he is granted the world and ten times its like along with it.'"
حدثنا روح بن عبادة حدثنا ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
يسأل عن الورود قال نحن يوم القيامة على كذا وكذا انظر أي ذلك فوق الناس قال فتدعى الأمم بأوثانها وما كانت تعبد الأول فالأول ثم يأتينا ربنا بعد ذلك فيقول من تنتظرون فيقولون ننتظر ربنا عز وجل فيقول أنا ربكم يقولون حتى ننظر إليك فيتجلى لهم يضحك قال سمعت النبي ﷺ قال فينطلق بهم ويتبعونه ويعطى كل إنسان منافق أو مؤمن نورا ثم يتبعونه على جسر جهنم كلاليب وحسك تأخذ من شاء الله ثم يطفأ نور المنافق ثم ينجو المؤمنون فتنجو أول زمرة وجوههم كالقمر ليلة البدر سبعون ألفا لا يحاسبون ثم الذين يلونهم كأضوإ نجم في السماء ثم كذلك تحل الشفاعة حتى يخرج من النار من قال لا إله إلا الله وكان في قلبه من الخير ما يزن شعيرة فيجعلون بفناء أهل الجنة ويجعل أهل الجنة يرشون عليهم الماء حتى ينبتون نبات الشيء في السيل ثم يسأل حتى يجعل له الدنيا وعشرة أمثالها معها
