I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no contagion, no Safar, and no ghoul."I heard Abu Zubayr mention that Jabir explained to them the statement "no Safar." Abu Zubayr said, "Safar refers to the belly."Jabir was asked, "What does this statement mean?"He replied, "The creatures of the belly."He said, and he did not explain the ghoul. Abu Zubayr said on his own, "This ghoul is the female devil that people speak of."
