The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to have his belly filled with pus until it ruins him than to have it filled with poetry."

عن رسول الله ﷺ قال لأن يمتلئ جوف أحدكم قيحا حتى يريه خير من أن يمتلئ شعرا
