I was with Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ali when he asked Jabir bin Abdullah about the bath required after major ritual impurity.Jabir said, "You wet the hair and wash the skin."Hasan said, "My hair is thick."Jabir replied, "The Prophet ﷺ used to pour three handfuls of water over his head."Hasan bin Muhammad said again, "My hair is thick."Jabir responded, "The hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was thicker and finer."

كنت مع حسن بن محمد بن علي فسأل جابر بن عبد الله عن غسل الجنابة فقال تبل الشعر وتغسل البشر قال رأسي كثير الشعر قال كان النبي ﷺ يحثو على رأسه ثلاث حثيات من الماء قال الحسن بن محمد رأسي كثير الشعر قال كان رأس رسول الله ﷺ أكثر وأطيب
