The tribe of Banu Salama intended to sell their homes and move closer to the mosque. When this reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "Stay in your homes, for your footsteps are being recorded."

أراد بنو سلمة أن يبيعوا ديارهم ينتقلون قرب المسجد فبلغ ذلك رسول الله ﷺ فقال دياركم إنما تكتب آثاركم
