The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever has land should cultivate it. If he is unable to do so, let him give it to his brother to cultivate. Otherwise, let him leave it and not lease it out."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة حدثنا مطر عن عطاء
أن النبي ﷺ قال من كانت له أرض فليزرعها فإن عجز عنها فليزرعها أخاه وإلا فليدعها ولا يكاريها
Its isnad is sahih. Mutarrif is Ibn Tarif, the trustworthy and excellent narrator, and the hadith has already appeared at 14855.14908m- He said, and the Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade mixing unripe dates and dried dates, or raisins and dried dates, sahih (14908m).
