Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

Allah granted Khaybar as spoils to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left its people in place as they were and made the land a shared arrangement between himself and them. He sent Abdullah bin Rawaha, who assessed the produce for them.Then Abdullah bin Rawaha said to them, "People of the Jews, you are the most detestable of creation to me. You killed the prophets of Allah and lied against Allah. Yet my hatred for you will not lead me to deal unjustly with you. I have estimated the date harvest at twenty thousand wasqs. If you wish, the share is yours, and if you refuse, it is mine."They replied, "By such fairness the heavens and the earth stand. We accept it, so leave us be."

حدثنا محمد بن سابق حدثنا إبراهيم بن طهمان عن أبي الزبير

عن جابر بن عبد الله أنه قال

أفاء الله عز وجل خيبر على رسول الله ﷺ فأقرهم رسول الله ﷺ كما كانوا وجعلها بينه وبينهم فبعث عبد الله بن رواحة فخرصها عليهم ثم قال لهم يا معشر اليهود أنتم أبغض الخلق إلي قتلتم أنبياء الله عز وجل وكذبتم على الله وليس يحملني بغضي إياكم على أن أحيف عليكم قد خرصت عشرين ألف وسق من تمر فإن شئتم فلكم وإن أبيتم فلي فقالوا بهذا قامت السموات والأرض قد أخذنا فاخرجوا عنا
