The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed in a state of calm and tranquility. When he reached the valley of Muhassir, he urged his mount to move quickly. He showed them pebbles the size of those used in a sling and instructed them to maintain calm.He said, "Let my nation learn their rites of pilgrimage from me, for I do not know, perhaps I shall not meet them after this year of mine."

دفع رسول الله ﷺ وعليه السكينة وأوضع في وادي محسر وأراهم مثل حصا الخذف وأمرهم بالسكينة وقال لتأخذ أمتي مناسكها فإني لا أدري لعلي لا ألقاهم بعد عامي هذا
