We set out with the Prophet ﷺ in pilgrim's garb, intending to perform Hajj. We circumambulated the House and made the Saee between Safa and Marwa. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then commanded us to release ourselves from the state of ihram. So we went out to Bathaa.A man began saying, "I will be with my wife today!" People talked about this, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Had I known earlier what I know now, I would have released myself from ihram."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not release himself from ihram because he had brought the sacrificial animal with him. We then entered the state of ihram again when we set out for Mina.

خرجنا مع النبي ﷺ مهلين بالحج فطفنا بالبيت وسعينا بين الصفا والمروة فأمرنا رسول الله ﷺ أن نحل قال فخرجنا إلى البطحاء قال فجعل الرجل يقول عهدي بأهلي اليوم فقال الناس في ذلك فقال رسول الله ﷺ لو استقبلت من أمري ما استدبرت منه لأحللت ولم يحل رسول الله ﷺ لأنه ساق الهدي فأحرمنا حين توجهنا إلى منى
