Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a military expedition. I asked his permission to hurry home ahead of the others. I said, "I have just gotten married."He asked, "To a previously married woman or a virgin?"I replied, "A previously married woman."He said, "Why not a virgin, so you could play with her and she could play with you?"Then he said, "Go on, and act wisely."Abu Bakr explained that this meant, do not surprise them by arriving at night.

حدثنا أسود بن عامر أخبرنا أبو بكر عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان

عن جابر بن عبد الله قال

كنا مع النبي ﷺ في غزاة قال فاستأذنت أتعجل قلت إني تزوجت قال ثيبا أم بكرا قال قلت ثيبا قال فألا كانت بكرا تلاعبها وتلاعبك قال انطلق واعمل عملا كيسا قال أبو بكر يعني لا تطرقهن ليلا
