Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day to attend the burial of Saad bin Muaz when he had passed away. After the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed over him, placed him in his grave, and leveled the earth upon him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said "Subhan Allah," so we said it with him for a long while. Then he said "Allahu Akbar," and we said it with him.Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, why did you say 'Subhan Allah' and then 'Allahu Akbar'?"He replied, "The grave squeezed this righteous servant tightly, until Allah relieved him of it."

حدثنا يعقوب حدثنا أبي عن ابن إسحاق حدثني معاذ بن رفاعة الأنصاري ثم الزرقي عن محمود بن عبد الرحمن بن عمرو بن الجموح

عن جابر بن عبد الله الأنصاري قال

خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ يوما إلى سعد بن معاذ حين توفي قال فلما صلى عليه رسول الله ﷺ ووضع في قبره وسوي عليه سبح رسول الله ﷺ فسبحنا طويلا ثم كبر فكبرنا فقيل يا رسول الله لم سبحت ثم كبرت قال لقد تضايق على هذا العبد الصالح قبره حتى فرجه الله عز وجل عنه
