A man from the Muhajirun kicked a man from the Ansar. The supporters of each gathered around their man. One side called out, "To me, Muhajirun!" and the other called out, "To me, Ansar!"News of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Leave it alone, for it is rotten."Then he said, "What is this call of the people of Jahiliyyah? What is this call of the people of Jahiliyyah?"

كسع رجل من المهاجرين رجلا من الأنصار فاجتمع قوم ذا وقوم ذا وقال هؤلاء يا للمهاجرين وقال هؤلاء يا للأنصار فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ فقال دعوها فإنها منتنة قال ثم قال ألا ما بال دعوى أهل الجاهلية ألا ما بال دعوى أهل الجاهلية
