Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, during the time of the Conquest, ordered Umar bin Khattab , while he was at al-Batha, to go to the House and erase every image in it. He did not enter it until every image in it had been erased.

أن رسول الله ﷺ أمر عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه زمان الفتح أن يأتي البيت وهو بالبطحاء فيمحو كل صورة فيه ولم يدخله حتى محيت كل صورة فيه
